“ If you love cake and coffee/tea, this is the place for you. Hinar has the fanciest, fluffiest cakes that have very unique flavors. The space is very unique as well, a good amount of seating and it designed so elegantly. This visit was pretty late, close to closing, and we were able to get a banana and a lemon cake to share between four of us. Disclaimer is I am not a cake person, it is my least chosen dessert, but Hinar adds magic. I could become a believer. The mousse is so dense and fluffy at the same time, I dont know how they do it. I really enjoyed the banana cake out of the two. I have also had the raspberry as well as the black sesame from friends bringing them to special occasions. The coffee was very vibrant. I ordered the orange blossom latte and it was very citrus forward. I loved it. I will definitely be back to try some of their other desserts that aren't cake. ”
“ The best cheesecake I tasted. Period. And the place is absolutely lovely to boot, a must try if you like desserts ”
“ Still dreaming and thinking about the Pistachio Cheesecake! Loved the subtle hint of pistachio. All dessert was not too sweet for our taste palette. ”
“ Came at a Sunday 1PM and we were able to order right away. Got a Banana Krokan ($12) and an Orange blossom latte. The cake was very rich, would definitely split between two people, and although it was filling, I would consider the price point high. The caramelized nuts went well with the hazelnut ganache. The orange blossom was very floral--I didn't mind it, but my friend thought it was overwhelming. The space inside is absolutely beautiful--perfect for journaling, doing work, or catching up with friends. There's a couple of tables in the back and outside as well, as seating in the cafe itself is quite limited. Also really liked the playlist, and the music wasn't too loud. ”
“ Hinar serves up coffee and pretty mini cakes in an equally beautiful space in downtown. Having gone several times, the cakes themselves have a great softness to them and are very delicate. They are not overly sweet and 1 is good to share between 2 people. The black sesame cake is a standout, however this time around we arrived later in the evening so they only had a few options let. The Chocolate+Banana and the Lemon Cake were both good in their own ways and it's definitely worth going here with a small group so you can try more than one. We also got the Orange Blossom Latte and I would say that that drink was really amazing! A perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness. The space is very minimalist and clean. The seating is fairly limited however but overall this is a great place to stop by and try some delicious cake. ”
“ Came here for the first time and ordered the orange blossom latte with the banana cake. Everything was good! Service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was so cute but I did wish they had more inside seatings. I feel like you can only fit around 10 people inside then have to go towards the back. For you to be able to enjoy the esthetic you probably have to get there early. Nothing really "wow" me here! Maybe if I'm craving something sweet I'll be back. ”
“ This space is beautiful. It's like walking into a dream. The ambiance and the vibes are 10 out of 10. The desserts match the vibe so perfectly. They are like pieces of art. 10/10 recommend. The staff is very helpful and communicative too! ”
“ This place is seriously so aesthetic. The interior, lighting, pastries, everything. There was so much seating as well with two different rooms and an outdoor patio. We got the strawberry cake and it was delicious. Not too sweet or heavy. There was a filling inside that was dense, a little tart, reminiscent of a jam. Food: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: 9/10 ”
“ I came here after dinner & was surprised by the amount of desserts that were still here around 7:30-8! We ordered: Basque Cheesecake - One of the best desserts I've ever had! It was a mix between a pound cake and cheese cake, not too sweet either. Super delicious and shareable between 3-4 people CHOCOLATE CAKE/ MOUSSE - A little too rich in chocolate for my liking but very flavorful if you love rich chocolate ”
“ Had this place bookmarked for awhile, and I have to say, I would definitely come back to try another one of their cheesecakes or cakes. Customer service was prompt, the ambiance was clean, calming, and artfully contemporary, and their case selection was inviting right when you walked through the door. For $12, their basque cheesecake slice is a little on the pricey side, but to be honest, what isn't nowadays. One of the things I look for when buying cheesecake is how the cheesecake is sliced. I know I know, I may be picky, but when you see the tip of the cheesecake in tacked, it tells me that the person took a lot of care in slicing each piece. That plus clean sides is usually a good indicator that the cheesecake texture is smooth / lump free. And viola! Indeed it was ... smooth, creamy, and dreamy. All that said, if I could provide some minor feedback, it was a tad on the sweet side and could have used a dash more vanilla. Just my thoughts! Would definitely recommend this place, whether it be you're looking for some me-time, a nice meet up spot, or a spot to get some work done while enjoying a nice cup of coffee or slice of cake. ”
